What it is
Clear aligners are a series of thin, transparent trays, each one slightly different from the last. Worn for about 22 hours a day, each set gently moves your teeth a little further until they reach the planned position. The number of sets depends on how much your teeth need to move.
Aligners are best suited to mild and moderate problems: crooked or crowded teeth and small gaps. Beyond appearance, they're comfortable, make brushing and flossing easy because you remove them, and can protect your teeth from wear if you grind at night. More complex bite problems may be better treated with fixed braces — we'll tell you which fits your case.
Suitable for
- Mild to moderate crowding or crooked teeth
- Small gaps between teeth
- Teens and adults who want a discreet option
- People who will wear the aligners consistently

How it's done
- 01
Assessment
We examine your teeth, take photos and impressions or scans, and check whether aligners suit your case.
- 02
Treatment plan
Your tooth movements are planned and you see how your teeth will move, set by set.
- 03
Wearing aligners
You wear each set for about 22 hours a day and change to the next one as your dentist instructs.
- 04
Check-ups and retainer
Regular visits keep treatment on track. When it's done, a retainer holds your teeth in their new position.

Aftercare
Every treatment starts with a consultation. The information here is general — your dentist will tell you what applies to you.
- Wear your aligners about 22 hours a day — less wear means slower progress
- Take them out to eat and drink anything other than water
- Brush your teeth before putting the aligners back in
- Clean aligners gently with cool water; hot water can warp them
- Keep them in their case when they're out
- Wear your retainer as instructed once treatment ends
Questions
Questions, answered.
You may feel pressure for a day or two with each new set. That's a sign they're working, and it fades quickly.
They are nearly invisible. Most people won't notice unless you tell them.
Aligners work very well for mild and moderate cases. For larger movements or bite correction, fixed braces can be more predictable. We'll recommend what suits you.
